Project Name: Kalang River Bridge Water Main Extension

Key Project Information: To supply the new Urunga South residential subdivision the required water volume via a new water main installed across the Kalang River road bridge in Urunga. This will supply water directly to the subdivision from Raleigh Reservoir after passing through a PRV.

Works Description

  • To procure materials, install a ductile iron main to the Westers side of the Kalang River Road bridge, pressure test the main, obtain a ROL from TfNSW and provide a CEMP.
  • The construction is to be carried out in a manner which minimises the disruption to the traffic flow across the bridge and to minimise any environmental impacts with strict adherence to the REF.
